Since 2005, PFS has been a member of The Union for International Cancer Control (UICC), joining forces with global entities dedicated to combating cancer. In 2007, PFS proudly became a member of Reach to Recovery International (RRI), further expanding its network of support for breast cancer patients and survivors. The organization’s partnership with MAX Foundation since 2014 and its collaboration with the ABC Global Alliance in 2019 have strengthened its impact on a global scale.

Impact and Accolades:

PFS’s commitment to excellence and its contributions to the fight against cancer have garnered widespread acclaim. In July 2006, the organization received the prestigious International Achievement Award from the American Cancer Society. This recognition affirmed PFS as an exemplary model of excellence in partnership with the global community in the battle against cancer. Global Cancer Ambassadors:

In April 2011, Carol El-Jabari, the former Executive Director of PFS, and Ms. Basma, a courageous cancer survivor, were selected as Global Cancer Ambassadors by the American Cancer Society. This honorable appointment recognized their invaluable contributions to raising awareness and advocating for improved cancer care. As Global Cancer Ambassadors, Carol El-Jabari and Ms. Basma have amplified the voice of PFS on the international stage, inspiring others with their stories of resilience and empowerment.
